Common questions.
Do I lose Modern Drive access if I cancel the website? +
The sponsorship runs for the life of the engagement. If you cancel the website, your Modern Drive account reverts to the free tier — you keep all your data but the Pro/Elite features gate again. You can also just pay the standard MD subscription at that point to keep everything unlocked.
What if I’m already paying for The Modern Drive? +
We’ll cancel your paid subscription and flip your account to sponsored the day you sign on for the website. You stop getting billed by Modern Drive that same day.
Is this a promo? Will the price go up later? +
Not a promo. The comp is standard for every web client and it doesn’t expire. Your rate is locked when you sign on — it goes up only if you materially change scope (add more sites, e-commerce, etc.).
What if I already have a website? +
We look at your existing site first. If it’s pulling its weight, we’ll tell you and you don’t need us. Most of the time it isn’t — we rebuild it properly, transfer your domain, and comp the MD account.
